OFF THE PRESS had a forgetful last prep with 3 unlucky runs and an incident on the float. That was put aside today as we went to Quirindi confident he was back to his best.
From the widest barrier Irish hoop Robbie Downey elected to drag the gelding back to last, looking to find a position. He settled well in the run and Robbie looked as though he had a V8 underneath. When rounding the bend he went straight to the outside and went through his gears to secure an authoritative length victory.
Cody Morgan Racing had him in fantastic order
Congratulations to his loyal and patient ownership group, Christmas certainly came early!
