We made the trip down to Goulburn to contest a small field on Goulburn Cup Day. We were confident although he was 4 weeks between runs due to a small setback, up to the mile for the first time
Our Exceedance Colt was in a nice spot just off the speed in a race with not a lot of tempo.
Under the guidance of Jason Collet, he hit the lead 200m out and was green in the straight with the challengers coming. Natural ability pulled through, winning at just his third start.
