We headed to Gunnedah today with MAGIC SHOT, confident that he was a winning chance.
It was a classy Ash Morgan ride from the wide barrier, electing to push forward and ended up gaining a comfortable lead. Down the straight the margin was closing, with the Shooting To Win gelding finding a second wind to knuckle down over the concluding stages. In the end he was too strong, winning by a comfortable 1.63 lengths.
Shares are still available in his half-sister by Maurice who is having a nice spell after finishing her early education.
