We’ve put in the hard work both at home and on the sale grounds, always searching for value at a sale we trust and love to shop from. The Inglis Classic has been our most successful sale for purchasing yearlings at affordable prices, providing an excellent return on investment for our owners. We continued our strategy of smart, value-driven purchases and are thrilled to have added three promising fillies to our growing stable. Here’s a brief introduction to our latest recruits:

Wild Ruler x Bring Me The Maid Filly (Left)
This filly was a private offering added to our database. She boasts a regal pedigree and strong residual value. Bring Me The Maid, a daughter of Sebring, is a Golden Slipper-placed mare. Although this filly is a later foal and will require time to develop, she presents a great opportunity for those who can be patient. With plenty of $100k Inglis Maiden races available for 3-year-olds, there’s no rush for early 2-year-old racing. Trained by Mathew Dunn, this is our first purchase with his stable, and we are excited to see her potential unfold.

Exceedance x Ocean Nymph Filly (Middle)
We were fortunate to secure this filly from the highly regarded Alma Vale draft. By the same sire as our exciting 3-year-old Cristal Clear, she shares a remarkable resemblance to him. Like many progeny of Exceedance, she’s a later-maturing type, but we believe she’ll be worth the wait. This filly is eligible for the lucrative $100k Inglis Maidens. She will be trained by Brett Cavanough, who is thrilled to have her in his stable.

Capitalist x Zinzi Filly (Right)
This filly is a beautiful specimen, and we patiently waited for her to come through the ring, securing her as one of the last lots out of 810 on offer. By 2-year-old Champion Capitalist, she’s bred for early speed. Her dam, a Metropolitan 2-year-old winner, has already produced a Sydney-performed 2-year-old (a full sister to this filly). We are targeting the $2 Million Inglis Millennium with her, which would provide a quick return on investment. She will be trained by Annabel Neasham and Rob Archibald, who will ensure she is given every opportunity to race early.

Notable Previous Purchases from the Inglis Classic:

She’s Exotic – A $30k purchase at the 2022 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale, She’s Exotic has won 3 out of her 4 starts, with her only defeat coming in a commendable 4th place on a Saturday at Randwick. She has already earned $73k and shows significant potential for more.

Tornado Express – Purchased for just $16k at the 2022 Inglis Classic, Tornado Express has impressed with 4 wins and a second placing in under 10 starts. She is currently the $8 in pre-markets for the $1 Million Country Championships. With $67k in earnings so far, she has already more than paid her way.

Magic Shot – A $20k purchase at the 2022 Inglis Classic, Magic Shot has 2 wins from 10 starts (2:1:2 record). He has recently found his best form and has already earned $56k, nearly tripling his purchase price.

These are just a few examples of the strong value we continue to find at the Inglis Classic Sale. We’re excited about our latest acquisitions and look forward to watching them develop into successful racehorses.
