Today we went to Tamworth with TORNADO EXPRESS confident that we’d leave a winner. Off the back of 2 luckless runs she was primed to make a statement on her home track.
She jumped well from the barriers and was expertly steered to one back from the leader. She swung around the bend and under the guidance of Mitchell Bell she opened up a clear lead. In the end she cruised home to win by over 3 lengths, posting some quick time.
