Sire: TIME TO REIGN

TIME TO REIGN by TIME FOR WAR won 3 from 10 starts. He was a standout colt from day 1 and proved his precocity being an undefeated pre-christmas 2YO, winning two starts in a row. An outstanding type. With all the physical attributes of a class sprinter with a massive hindquarter, strong shoulder and deep girth. He won the Group 2 Silver Slipper by over 2 lengths and ran a gallant 5th in the Group 1 Golden Slipper. He comes from a precocious family being the half sister to Group 1 Golden Slipper winner SHE WILL REIGN. Unfortunately, he was never the same after the Golden Slipper run and struggled with injuries, stopping him from reaching his full potential.

TIME TO REIGN is a first season sire who stands at Kingstar Farm. His top priced yearling has sold for $200,000 at Gold Coast Magic Millions January with his precocity being passed onto his progeny. They look early, sharp sprinting types who are destined to suit Australian racing.

Dam: PRINCESS EMMY

PRINCESS EMMY by KING’S CHAPEL was a dual winner. She was well above average on the racetrack, winning at 2 before winning a Listed race as an early 3yo by just under 5 lengths. As a broodmare she has been exceptional with 8 foals to race all winners and this yearling being her 9th foal.  She has produced 2 black-type winning 2yo’s, striking at 25%. She hails from a deep New Zealand 2yo family with plenty of Group 1 winners in her lineage.

With her deep pedigree and her exceptional producing record. She secures her progeny futures as class breeding propositions regardless off their race record.

Trainer: ANNABEL NEASHAM

In 2016, Annabel took up the opportunity to travel to Australia – for what was meant to be a working holiday. She never left, and now can’t imagine being anywhere else.

Annabel started training in her own right in August 2020. Trained her first Group 1 winner Mo’unga in the Rosehill Guineas in under 8 months of training alone.

During her two years in charge of Ciaron Maher’s Sydney stable, Annabel savoured several major victories and assisted in guiding the careers of some exceptionally talented horses including Dubious, Away Game, Prague, Cellsabeel and Etah James.

“Climbing the mountain and getting to the top is difficult but staying there is much harder,” Hawkes once said. “Racing is so competitive these days, there are a lot of good trainers, and it takes a lot of hard work behind the scenes to stay there and not start sliding down the other side.”

The stable has now achieved 25 Black type wins with 7 Group 1’s, 8 Group 2’s. A phenomenal strike rate of 16% with over $22 million in stakes earnings.
